This is not the best looking sports bra on the market today, but it is one of the best in terms of minimizing bounce. It combines compressive support with encapsulation technology for a sports bra that really delivers. It also uses a very soft fabric and has seems that are finished both inside and out. It is one of the excellent high impact sports bras for large breasts. DDD and above cup sizes will find it particularly good at reducing bounce.
The only thing that I personally don't like about the bra is that it has hook and eye closures in the front, but if you are among the larger busted women that do high impact activities, this is one bra you should definitely check out.

This is a good choice if you are looking for sports bras that don't flatten too much.
One of the best features about the Shock Absorber Bras is that they feature sizes starting at band size 30 and 32. This is wonderful if you have a larger cup size and a smaller frame, and need something like a 34 DDD sports bra, because most bras that have larger cup sizes start at 34 or even 36 bands. This CW-X Sports Bra is a good choice if you are a B to DD size cup. This popular bra looks great even without a shirt on overtop and doesn't chafe. Like the other sports bras that I mention on this page this one also offers superior bounce control and is a good choice for fuller figured women who want to exercise and play sports in comfort and still be stylish.
Sometimes people ask me about low cut sports bras, but I have to say, I don't recommend them. They just won't give you the kind of stabilization that you need. It is much better to stick with a full cut style for the best support.

Any of you who have found this page know what it is like to try to find a high impact sports bra DD or larger that actually does the job and keeps your breasts still. Because, while we know that guys like to watch bouncy breasts, this is seriously uncomfortable and can cause plenty of pain and premature sagging (which we certainly DON'T want).
There are many bras on the market today that work at stabilizing well endowed women. Here are some of my favorites.
Natori Sport Underwire Sports Bra
This bra comes in a range of sizes from 32B to 40dd bras. One of the things that women like about this bra is that it keep you from getting uni-boob even in larger cup sizes. This bra is built like a regular bra, but supports like a sports bra. Because of the way it is built it also really reduces sports bra chafing.
Enell Sports Bras
The gold standard in sports bras for fuller figures. These bras nearly eliminate movement, but can feel like putting a corset on, but remember if you want a sports bra to work it should be snug. Also if you are purchasing an enell bra, you will want to be familiar with enell sizing. Enell bras do come in a range of sizes including 42dd bras. These bras really work.
Sportjock Bra
This is a British based company that manufactures sports bras that are specifically geared toward women with fuller figures. This means that whether you need a 34ddd bra or a 30e bra you will be able to find a bra that fits. The sizing on these bras is particularly easy, because all you need to know is your regular bra size to get one that really fits. If you are looking for a bra that is fashionable this is the best plus size sports bra for range of colors and looks. It looks so good (even in higher cup sizes) you can wear it alone.
Panache High Impact Sports Bra
Another bra that is specifically engineered to support cup sizes D through G. It has underwire and wicking fabric to reduce sweat. This is one of the high impact sports bras that really works. It keeps bounce to a minimum, which is what we all want in a good sports bra.
Shock Absorber Bras
If you are looking for a full figure sport bra, the name on the Shock Absorber Sports Bra says it all. These bras are engineered to reduce bounce. The only downfall is that like many sports bras they do give you some uniboob. But the support is worth it. They are also fairly attractive bras in addition to a being heavy duty sports bra.

This is a really cute bra, but is not for high impact workouts. If you are running you will want something more supportive in your sports bras, but it is a great bra for A and B cups for walking or for yoga, and it looks great on its own or under tanks. I love the amazing support and the tight fit. If you are doing yoga, you don't want your clothes to get in the way, so this is a great bra for yoga (my personal favorite exercise).

It used to be that the only kind of sports bra you could buy was the full compression type. They operate basically like a giant Ace bandage and just hold your chest immobile by compression. Thankfully, manufacturers have come a long way when it comes to sports bras. There are now both regular size and full figure sports bras that offer amazing support (and even some definition) no matter what cup size you take. This bra is ok, but not nearly as nice as the model it replaced (which was perfect). Champion, please go back to the drawing board and make the older version of this sports bra! The straps on this are barely adjustable (in the back) so you can't get them to fit well...I'll never buy a Champion sports bra again, since this is the only underwire model of theirs that comes in (a small size) 34C. Women want a supportive bra when jogging and this one does not do the trick.

I already owned two of this Champion Model 1695 bra. They are so comfortable that I wanted another. The quality is excellent and the underwire holds extremely well with no discomfort, a combination hard to find in most bras.
I purchased this bra because I wanted something to control moisture during a trip to a tropical region. It was quite good for that, and provides solid support. I am able to do Wii running and play DanceDance Revolution (a fairly high-impact game) with little bouncing and no pain. My only complaint is that the support does not last all day -- by midday, the bra starts to pull away from my body between my breasts (36D). Given that, I think the best uses are exercise and maybe short trips out in summer heat. The moisture control is such a great plus though that I often wear this bra all day and just ignore the fit issue. I will purchase more.

It is no surprise to me that this is a Champion sports bra. They are almost always rated top of their class and are excellent bras especially for bustier women. I personally love them.
The only downside to underwire sports bras is that they look like regular bras, which means that they are difficult to wear as a stand alone garment like you can with some other styles. But if you are gifted with a larger chest (like me) than you may want to try and underwire bra, especially if you are going to be doing a lot of high impact type of activities.

OK, Ladies... I am sure you know that running is a high impact sport, and if you are a woman who is built like me you may very well be looking for no bounce sports bras to keep everything in place so running doesn't hurt. Some people believe that their is no difference between sports bras, but I couldn't disagree more. There are ones that are way better than others.
How to choose a sports bra for running
For running you are going to want a high impact sports bra. Something that will really keep your girls still. That means you are going to need compression. The amount of compression that you will need varies, depending on the size of your breasts. The larger your cup size the more compression you will need to keep your breasts from bouncing. Here are some of the best sport bras for large breasts - runners and others who do high impact activities will find these to work very well.

I am a 36 DD, and have a very hard time finding sports bras that actually work. No pull over the head ones for me. I am a horseback rider and 5 day a week runner, and play tennis and soccer, so I need a bra that will hold everything in place, no bouncing down the street. I had found this bra years ago in the mall and loved it, I bought 5. They lasted years with heavy wear. I had trouble finding them again however, as the stores in the mall no longer carried them. Here are some things I always look for when purchasing a good sports bra for jogging or running.
I always want to see if the sports bra is really a sports bra or just a fashion bra disguised as a sports bra. I can often tell this from checking out Amazon.com and looking at the customer comments. What I am looking for is women commenting on whether or not the sport bra for sale actually reduces bounce.
The next thing I look for personally (because I am VERY vain) is how the sports bra looks. I personally want it to look cute enough that I can wear it without any additional clothes overtop of it. If you always wear a shirt over your sports bra than this is no big deal.
Lastly, I check out what it is made of. I want the materials to be either mostly cotton, or one of the new moisture wicking fabrics that are on the market today.

I ran a few miles to test it out and had pretty much no bounce, the bra did exactly what you want a sports bra to do. I highly recommend these!
I am a 36 DD, and have a very hard time finding sports bras that actually work. No pull over the head ones for me. I am a horseback rider and 5 day a week runner, and play tennis and soccer, so I need a bra that will hold everything in place, no bouncing down the street. I had found this bra years ago in the mall and loved it, I bought 5. They lasted years with heavy wear. I had trouble finding them again however, as the stores in the mall no longer carried them. I tried a few other bras in the meantime, but none of them could compare to this one. Even my old worn out champion bras were better than any new ones I tried. I was so happy to find them online, and at half the price! For big busted women who want as little movement as possible, this is the only bra for you! I will never buy another type.
